Tiny Tumblers
Tumbling is a form of gymnastics which is performed without the assistance of props. You may also hear it referred to as floor gymnastics. Tumbling requires physical strength, flexibility, control and stamina. These qualities are very beneficial to dancers. Our tumbling students progress at a rapid speed in this individualized class consisting of conditioning, stretching and spotting skills such as backbends, balance tricks, rolls, cartwheels, roundoff, limbers and walkovers. This class is for students 3-5 years old. It is 30 minutes and does not require any performance in the June showcase.
This class is for any new or current dancer ages 2.5-4. We have created a program that is educational, at a learning pace preschool-aged children can enjoy. Tippy Toes
This class is for 3-4 year olds and teaches the fundamentals of tap dance, the basics of classical ballet and the joy of creative movement. The goal is to introduce young dancers to rhythmic movement and the elegance and magic of dance in a positive environment. Age appropriate work is introduced in these disciplines each week that develops the young dancer in a fun, creative and systematic way. Dancers will learn basic steps and terminology in ballet. Students will use the ballet barre to learn traditional technique. Tap will combine the study of rhythm, precision and fluidity of movement. Creative movement and early stages of Jazz technique will include simple isolations, turns, jumps, leaps, balance tricks and rolls. The use of fun, age appropriate music engages the young dancers’ minds and bodies. The use of props such as maracas, stuffed animals, flowers, or scarves makes the end of class the most fun! This is a 60 minute class, with two routines that will perform in the June showcase, which require two separate costumes. Dancers must easily separate from their caregivers. Tap shoes and Ballet shoes are required for class and can be purchased at the front desk.

Elite Team
This is our pre-professional competitive team that trains the areas most talented and successful dancers. These dancers have traveled all over America competing in dance competitions and have brought home various accolades and honors; including several National titles and First Place Overalls. They have been given the opportunity to train with the industries leading professionals at conventions and in-house workshops. This competitive program offers intense technical training, award-winning choreography and personal attention from highly trained and experienced instructors. Although we challenge these dancers every day to become the best they can be, make their mark in the competitive scene and have the tools they need to step out into the professional dance world, our top priority is to create passionate artists that love and respect their craft.
Erica’s Elite dancers are 6-18 years old. They technically train 10+ hours each week in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Stretch & Strength, Conditioning, Leaps & Turns, Legs & Feet, Acrobatics & Tumbling. They rehearse their competitive group routines on Saturdays and compete in 3-5 local regional competitions each season and a National every other year. While the focus is on giving the children the ability to dance at a highly competitive level, they also learn valuable lessons and qualities that benefit them outside of the dance world.
